Watching this youtube video about the role of single women voters  in to the Clinton presidential campaign made me wonder. Since, when did being a single independent woman become the equivalent of living off of government assistance? Maybe some people don’t understand what the word “independent” means? But since Hillary Clinton announced that she is running for president the impact and role of single women voters has come under scrutiny. Is it really such a big surprise that single women voters like me are primarily concerned with health, education, and the economy? Apparently it is. Many Washington pundits haven’t spend much time with single women in 2015 and have us confused with 1950s sitcoms. With single women the highest growing demographic you would think that we would get more respect.
