Sometimes when our business isn’t doing well we need to take a fresh perspective. What would an objective outsider, a hot shot, want to change about my businesses? But more importantly we need to ask that question even if our business is doing well. Sometimes when our businesses are doing well we become complacent and that opens to the door to competition. It also prevents us from continuously innovating to keep our products fresh and relevant to the market. Cinnabon legend Kat Cole used this trick to keep Cinnabon at the top of its game.
