Women and minorities have long been underrepresented in the technology industry. There has been a long prolonged battle to increase the number of women with degrees in STEMS disciplines, but talk to just about any women that works in the field and they will tell you that even if qualified its not easy to get into this club that has traditionally been “boys only,” for so long. So, it is exciting and inspiring to see that the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich pledged $300 million dollars to increasing diversity amongst their ranks. Just so you know he is serious the success of the project will be directly tied to executive compensation.
